After reflecting upon the items I found, I realized that the tools that we choose for our students to use should be first used by the teacher/instructor. If the teacher/instructor has difficulty using a tool then the students will have difficulty as well. It is important for me to remember that either I make sure I carefully walk my students through difficult tasks or make sure the tasks are very straightforward and easy to navigate. It is important for me to also remember that the process I am wanting my students to learn matches the activities I am doing. The tools need to enhance their learning not be their learning. Also, we all need time to "play".
